KSU's International office works both to promote and facilitate the mobility of Maltese students and to assist foreign students who choose Malta as their destination to further their studies and ensure a welcoming and hospitable study environment.
The KSU International Office strives to make international students’ lives easier whilst studying at the University of Malta. We welcome our international students during Orientation Day and provide them with welcome packs consisting of the KSU diary, International Office handbook and other promotional material. We also organise international student parties to help bridge the gap between foreign and local students. The International Office represents the interests of all Maltese University students on an international level, particularly within ESU - The European Students Union as well as MedNet – The Mediterranean Network of Student Representatives. Our main aim this year is to increase the opportunities of mobility for students, both through the organisation of exchanges and through the constant promotion of the many international opportunities available. We will also work hand in hand with other organisations to increase opportunities and promote the organisation’s own initiatives involving student mobility. One of our aims this year is also to help other organisations strengthen and in some cases establish their own international relationships.
The international office of KSU is always on the lookout for any internship or other international opportunities available for University students. For those who cannot commit themselves or isn’t possible to go on Erasmus, we also have a couple of student exchanges in the pipeline. A regularly updated portal for international opportunities will also be put up on our website soon. Stay tuned.
